the valve on the cold water inlet in order to ensure a continuous water supply
to the cold water to the water heater supply.

close the vent pipe. It should remain and higher than the tank of cold water
storage.

Do not use rough
materials and harsh liquids in order to clean the glass cover.

place when you don’t require it.

settle on the glass, and it's immensely important to keep the glass cover clean
as the settled dirt and dust can block the sun rays.

Heat the water when
required. Try not to use the already stored heated water in the tank. It
prevents you from mixing hot and cold water in the tank, which also makes it
economical.

Make sure there’s
nothing invading the surrounding of the heater. In case if it has branches of
trees in the surroundings, it would be better to cut or trip them up to ensure
the collector is receiving a burst of ample sunshine.
